Bundle of Sticks - single

In Aesop’s old fable a dying man lets his quarrelling sons try to break a bundle of sticks which they cannot do. He then asks them to untie the bundle and try again, and now the single twigs break easily. He does it to show them how unity makes strong and division weak.
In a world where some of those in charge do not always seem to know or remember that moral, our song “Bundle of Sticks” expresses a hope that the voice of reason and decency “in the corner of society” will again find its way to the centre and be listened to.

Musically, the song is a continuation of Waterfahl’s Nordicana sound, but this time we are letting it flow down a slightly different stream where our core instruments guitar and harmonica enjoy the company of a bass line, drum patterns and synthesizer sounds.
The single is from our upcoming album No Man is an Island expected out this summer.
